Rebecca Padfield - Treasurer
At Crewkerne RFC, the treasurer's role is to manage club finances, contribute to strategic business planning and review and recommend financial policies for the club to ensure that the finance works appropriately for the club. Rebecca’s main roles are taking the lead on all financial issues, managing financial transactions, subscriptions and memberships and monitoring commercial activity.
Rebecca has been a loyal supporter for a number of years now. She first got involved with Crewkerne RFC when her son started playing for the juniors in 2012, with her husband Neil also playing for the men’s side. WIth Rebecca’s daughter a regular helper for the Ladies, she was soon convinced to join the team in 2019. She started training in October 2019 and made her debut in the Inner Warrior SW Series against Bridgwater & Albion Ladies.
Rebecca has been the club’s treasurer since 2016, dealing with the finances for both the senior and junior committee’s. She has also regularly been behind the bar at the clubhouse during each team’s home fixtures, and will be handling the club’s sponsorships this season. Rebecca’s financial knowledge and accounting qualifications make her the ideal person to be Treasurer, especially with the current unprecedented time.
